Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 22, 2026

The Cobraverse Company, LLC ("Cobraverse," "Company," "we," "our," or "us") operates cobraverse.net, lasercobras.com, related websites, the Laser Cobras! Assault mobile game, and related media, merchandise, content, features, and services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect Personal Data when individuals access or interact with the Services.

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed by Cobraverse through the Services, including information submitted through our websites, information associated with merchandise orders placed through our Etsy shop, limited technical information processed in connection with our websites and mobile advertising, and information connected with Apple services used by the Game. It does not apply to the independent privacy practices of Etsy, Printify, Apple, Google, YouTube, GitHub, Web3Forms, or another third party that we do not own or control.

The Game is intended for a general audience of users age 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 are not eligible to use the Game under our Terms of Use. Because the Game may nevertheless be used by a child contrary to that restriction, we limit its data features, do not provide accounts, chat, or user-posting functions, and use Google’s Teen age treatment and non-personalized advertising as described below. These precautions do not authorize use by children under 13 or replace any protections required by law when we learn that a particular User is a child.

Definitions

"Cookies and Similar Technologies" means cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, software development kits ("SDKs"), mobile identifiers, and similar technologies that store or access information on a device or permit information to be transmitted from a website or application.

"Game" means the Laser Cobras! Assault mobile game and related features made available by Cobraverse.

"Personal Data" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with an individual or household, as defined by applicable law. Personal Data does not include information that has been lawfully deidentified or aggregated so that it cannot reasonably be linked to an individual.

"Service Provider" means a vendor, processor, contractor, or other entity that processes Personal Data to provide services to Cobraverse. Some companies identified in this Privacy Policy may instead act as independent businesses or controllers for their own activities.

"User" or "you" means an individual who visits a Cobraverse website, communicates with Cobraverse, uses the Game, interacts with Cobraverse content, or purchases Cobraverse merchandise through a third-party marketplace.

1. Who We Are and Scope

The Cobraverse Company, LLC is a Colorado limited liability company that creates video games, videos, artwork, characters, merchandise, and related media. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to privacy@cobraverse.net.

Cobraverse determines the purposes and means of processing Personal Data that it collects directly through the Services, such as website communications and information used to administer its business. Third-party platforms may independently determine how they process information. For example, Etsy operates its marketplace and payment environment, Printify provides fulfillment services, Apple operates the App Store, in-app purchasing, iCloud, and Game Center, and Google operates AdMob and YouTube.

Links from the Services to a third-party site or service do not make that third party part of the Services. If you follow a link, view embedded content, sign in to a third-party feature, make a purchase, or otherwise interact directly with a third party, that third party may collect information under its own privacy policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

When you submit a website contact form, email us, communicate through Etsy, or otherwise contact Cobraverse, we may collect your name, email address, message, attachments, order-related information, and any other information you choose to provide. Web3Forms processes website contact-form submissions and delivers them to the Company. Please do not submit information that is unnecessary for your request.

Merchandise and Etsy Information

Cobraverse merchandise is offered through an Etsy shop. Etsy collects order, account, shipping, payment, device, and transaction information under Etsy’s own terms and privacy policy. As the seller, Cobraverse may access information made available through the Etsy seller account, including a purchaser’s name, shipping address, items ordered, order number, order status, transaction amount, and messages concerning the order.

The Etsy shop is connected with Printify for print-on-demand production and fulfillment. Etsy and Printify may exchange a purchaser’s name, shipping address, item details, and fulfillment information so that merchandise can be produced and delivered. Cobraverse does not receive complete payment-card credentials. Cobraverse may receive or access order and transaction information necessary to administer orders, provide support, address disputes, maintain records, and comply with legal obligations.

Website and Technical Information

When you visit a Cobraverse website, Cobraverse and its providers may process Internet Protocol address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, language, screen dimensions, referring page or site, pages viewed, approximate country or region derived from an Internet Protocol address, date and time, and standard server or security-log information.

Cobraverse uses GoatCounter to understand general website traffic and performance. GoatCounter is configured without advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. It may process limited technical information needed to produce website statistics, including page views, referring sites, browser and operating-system information, language, screen width, and an approximate country or region derived from an Internet Protocol address. Cobraverse generally receives reports and statistics rather than complete raw identifying information.

Game Progress, Device Storage, and iCloud

The Game may store high scores, upgrades, virtual coins, unlocked cosmetic items, player profiles, preferences, and settings locally on your device. If you enable an applicable Apple iCloud feature, Apple may store or synchronize this information through your Apple account. Cobraverse does not operate a separate gameplay-account system and does not ordinarily receive the locally stored or iCloud-synchronized game record. Apple processes iCloud information under Apple’s terms and privacy practices.

Game Center

The Game may offer optional leaderboards or related functions through Apple Game Center. If you enable or use Game Center, Apple may process and display your Game Center nickname, score, achievements, and related activity. The Game may submit a score or achievement information to Apple. Cobraverse may be able to view leaderboard or aggregate information made available through Game Center but does not receive your Apple ID credentials. Game Center is distinct from Apple Arcade. A leaderboard entry may be visible to other Game Center users under Apple’s settings; participation is not a private communication with Cobraverse. Review the available Game Center privacy and parental controls before enabling these features.

In-App Transactions

Users may obtain access to cosmetic digital items and other eligible content through one-time in-app transactions processed by Apple. Apple processes payment credentials, billing, transaction authorization, refunds, and related transactions under Apple’s terms and privacy practices. Cobraverse or the Game may receive product, entitlement, transaction, restoration, refund, or status information needed to provide the applicable content and functionality and support. Cobraverse does not ordinarily receive or store complete payment-card credentials.

Rewarded Advertising and AdMob

The Game may offer optional rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob. A User may choose to view a rewarded advertisement in exchange for an in-game benefit. Viewing an advertisement is not required to access the Game’s basic gameplay. Rewards may include virtual coins or upgrade currency used to improve a player’s Cobra. These earned gameplay benefits are separate from the cosmetic content currently offered through paid Apple in-app transactions. The Game may process local progress and ad-completion information to credit the stated reward; a reward has no cash value.

Cobraverse configures the Game not to request permission to track a User across apps or websites owned by other companies and not to access the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA). Subject to any more protective treatment required by law, ad requests are configured for Google’s Teen age treatment, which disables personalized ads and remarketing and applies Google’s ad-serving protections for teens. Cobraverse also sets the maximum AdMob ad content rating to Teen (T), which permits ads rated G, PG, and T but blocks ads rated MA. Google may independently apply more restrictive treatment when required by applicable law or its policies.

Google and participating advertising providers may process limited information to request, deliver, secure, limit, and measure an advertisement, such as Internet Protocol address, coarse location derived from that address, device type, operating system, application identifier, language, ad-unit information, ad impressions, completion or interaction events, diagnostics, fraud-prevention signals, and identifiers permitted by the applicable device and privacy settings. Cobraverse may receive aggregate or transaction-level advertising reports and revenue information. Cobraverse does not permit this information to be used by the Game for cross-context behavioral advertising or interest-based profiling.

If you select an advertisement, the advertiser, application store, or destination service may collect information under its own privacy policy. Apple privacy-preserving attribution technologies may provide limited conversion information without providing Cobraverse with information that directly identifies you.

Embedded Videos and Linked Content

Cobraverse websites may embed YouTube videos or link to YouTube, Etsy, Apple, and other third-party content. When you load or interact with embedded content or follow a link, the third party may receive technical information, set or access Cookies and Similar Technologies, and associate the interaction with an account as described in its own privacy policy.

Information We Do Not Intend to Collect Through the Game

The Game does not provide a Cobraverse account-registration system and does not ask a User to submit a name, email address, telephone number, postal address, photograph, precise location, contact list, or direct message. The Game does not provide chat, player-to-player messaging, or User-generated-content posting. Cobraverse does not use the Game to collect precise geolocation or to create advertising profiles.

3. Service Providers and Third-Party Services

Cobraverse uses third parties to operate, distribute, support, and connect the Services. These parties receive or process information only as relevant to the service they provide or their independent relationship with a User. Current providers and third-party platforms include:

A third party’s collection and use of information is governed by its own terms and privacy policy when it acts independently. Cobraverse does not control and is not responsible for a third party’s independent privacy, security, content, or business practices.

4. Cookies, SDKs, Advertising Identifiers, and Choices

Cobraverse does not use its websites to place advertising cookies or to track a User across unrelated websites. GoatCounter is used for limited website statistics and is configured without cross-site advertising tracking. Hosting and security providers may nevertheless process standard logs or use technologies necessary to deliver, protect, and operate a website.

Embedded YouTube content and third-party destinations such as Etsy may use their own Cookies and Similar Technologies. You may limit cookies through browser settings, but doing so may affect third-party content or functionality. Where required by applicable law, Cobraverse will provide or implement an appropriate consent or choice mechanism for nonessential technologies.

The Game includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK for rewarded advertising. Cobraverse configures advertising requests by default for Google’s Teen age treatment, sets the maximum AdMob ad content rating to Teen (T), and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission or access to the IDFA. The Teen age treatment disables personalized ads and remarketing. The absence of cross-app tracking does not mean that no information is processed: Google and participating providers may still process limited technical, contextual, measurement, security, and fraud-prevention information as described in this Privacy Policy. Teen age treatment and the maximum ad content rating are separate settings. Neither setting is a determination of a User’s age, parental consent, or an exemption from children’s privacy requirements. If Cobraverse acquires actual knowledge that Personal Data is being collected through the Game from a child under 13, Cobraverse will stop or restrict the affected collection and advertising and address the information as required by law, including deletion unless a lawful exception permits retention. Cobraverse is responsible for implementing these measures for the Game, including through changes to advertising settings, a Game update, or suspension of affected advertising where necessary. Google applies its own ad-serving protections, but those protections do not replace Cobraverse’s legal obligations. This does not mean that the Game verifies each User’s age or permits use by children under 13.

The Game is not presently offered for distribution through App Store storefronts in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland. Availability may differ by location, and an advertising feature may be limited or unavailable where the required configuration or consent mechanism is not implemented. The Game remains playable without choosing to view a rewarded advertisement.

5. How We Use Personal Data

Cobraverse may use Personal Data and other information for the following purposes:

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, Cobraverse relies on performance of a transaction or requested service, legitimate interests that are not overridden by applicable privacy rights, compliance with legal obligations, protection of vital or legal interests, and consent where consent is required. Consent may be withdrawn as permitted by law without affecting processing completed before withdrawal.

6. How We Disclose Personal Data

Cobraverse does not sell Personal Data for money or other valuable consideration and does not share Personal Data for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose Personal Data or permit it to be processed in the following circumstances:

Cobraverse may use and disclose information that has been aggregated or deidentified so that it cannot reasonably be linked to an individual, subject to applicable law. We do not attempt to reidentify lawfully deidentified information except to test whether our deidentification processes are effective or as otherwise permitted by law.

7. Data Retention

Cobraverse retains Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide requested services, maintain security, comply with legal and platform obligations, resolve disputes, and establish or defend legal claims. Retention periods depend on the type of information, the context in which it was collected, and applicable obligations.

When deletion is required or appropriate, Cobraverse will delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of the information, subject to technical limitations, lawful exceptions, and reasonable backup cycles. Information about a minor is not retained longer than reasonably necessary to provide the relevant service, product, or feature, except to the extent a specific retention is permitted or required by applicable law. A general business interest does not authorize indefinite retention of a minor’s information.

8. Data Security and Breach Notification

Cobraverse uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect the limited Personal Data it controls against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, misuse, or destruction. Measures may include HTTPS, account authentication, two-factor authentication for applicable email accounts, restricted access, provider security controls, data minimization, and deletion practices.

No Internet transmission, electronic storage system, software, or security measure is completely secure. Cobraverse therefore cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, Apple account, Etsy account, email account, and any credentials used with third-party services.

If Cobraverse discovers a security incident involving Personal Data under its control, it will investigate and provide notice to affected individuals, regulators, or others when and as required by applicable law. The form, timing, and content of any notice will depend on the incident and applicable legal requirements.

9. Children’s Privacy

Audience and Service Design

The Game is designed and marketed for a general audience of teens and adults age 13 and older. It is not offered in Apple’s Kids category, and Cobraverse does not knowingly use the Game to request direct identifiers from children under 13. A person under the age of majority should use the Game only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. The possibility that a child accesses the Game does not make that child eligible under the Terms of Use. We do not treat an App Store content rating, a parent’s permission to play, or acceptance of the Terms of Use as a substitute for any legally required verifiable parental consent.

The Game does not provide Cobraverse account registration, chat, direct messaging, User-generated-content posting, contact-list access, precise-location collection, or a Cobraverse gameplay server. Game progress is stored locally and, when enabled by the User, through Apple iCloud. Optional Game Center functions and in-app purchases are operated through Apple.

Advertising and Persistent Identifiers

Google AdMob may process an Internet Protocol address and other device-level or advertising-request information that may be treated as a persistent identifier under children’s privacy law. Cobraverse limits this processing to what is reasonably necessary to request, deliver, secure, limit, and measure contextual or non-personalized rewarded advertisements, verify an ad event, and prevent fraud and abuse. Non-personalized advertising can still involve Personal Data, and use of a provider does not eliminate Cobraverse’s responsibilities for processing conducted on its behalf. We do not rely on the label “non-personalized” alone as establishing an exception from parental notice or consent requirements.

Cobraverse configures advertising requests by default for Google’s Teen age treatment, which disables personalized ads and remarketing and applies Google’s ad-serving protections for teens. Cobraverse sets the maximum AdMob ad content rating to Teen (T), so ads may be rated G, PG, or T but not MA, and does not request Apple tracking permission or access to the IDFA. Google may independently apply additional or more restrictive protections when required by applicable law or its policies. Cobraverse does not permit the Game to use this information to contact a child, build an interest profile, or engage in cross-context behavioral advertising. Teen age treatment does not itself supply the child age treatment that may be required for an under-13 User. If we acquire actual knowledge of collection of Personal Data from a child under 13, we will stop or restrict the affected collection and advertising and address the information as required by law, including deletion unless a lawful exception permits retention. We do not offer an under-13 enrollment or parental-consent program through the Game.

Parents and Guardians

If a parent or guardian believes that a child under 13 submitted Personal Data to Cobraverse or that information is being collected from the child through the Game, including through an advertising provider, the parent or guardian may contact privacy@cobraverse.net. Cobraverse will take reasonable steps to verify the request and delete or otherwise address the information as required by law. A parent may also request information about the types of Personal Data collected from a child and may refuse further collection or use where applicable. An under-13 child’s one-time inquiry will be handled only as permitted by applicable law, and the child’s contact information will be deleted promptly after the permitted response unless another lawful exception applies. Please identify the affected feature without sending the child’s full birth date, identity documents, or other unnecessary information.

Parents and guardians may use Apple Screen Time, Ask to Buy, purchase restrictions, Game Center controls, device settings, iCloud settings, and other available parental controls. Deleting the Game removes locally stored information, while iCloud and Game Center information must be managed through the applicable Apple account and settings.

Protections for Teen Users

The Game’s non-personalized advertising and limited data features apply by default to all Users, including teens age 13 through 17. Cobraverse does not use the Game to sell a minor’s Personal Data, serve targeted advertising, create interest-based advertising profiles, make profiling-based decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, collect precise geolocation, or send push notifications intended to draw a minor back into gameplay.

Where Colorado law applies to processing information about a User whom we actually know or willfully disregard is a minor, we limit the processing to disclosed purposes and purposes reasonably necessary for and compatible with those purposes. We do not treat acceptance of our Terms of Use, continued play, or a choice to watch an advertisement as consent to a different processing purpose or another activity requiring separate consent. If a feature requires consent under applicable law, we will obtain the required consent before providing it or will restrict that feature. This requirement applies to existing features and to features added later. This includes any system design feature that significantly increases, sustains, or extends a minor’s use of the Game where Colorado law requires consent. For Users age 13 through 17, that consent must come from the User. Any required parental consent for a child under 13 must satisfy the applicable legal standard; ordinary permission to use a device is insufficient.

Gameplay Rewards and Your Choices

Game progress, Cobra upgrades, and virtual coins ordinarily remain on the device or, if enabled, in Apple iCloud. Optional rewarded advertisements provide the stated in-game benefit without requiring personalized advertising or cross-app tracking. Game Center leaderboards involve the separate Apple functions described in Section 2. These features do not give Cobraverse access to your Apple account credentials. You may decline rewarded advertisements and manage optional Apple features through the available Apple settings.

A User or parent may report a privacy concern about advertising, rewards, leaderboards, or a child’s information through privacy@cobraverse.net or the website contact form. Where consent is required, it may be refused or withdrawn through the method provided when consent is requested or by contacting us. Withdrawal will stop the affected consent-based processing as required by law and may limit the feature that depends on it. The Company will not require a Cobraverse account to receive a privacy request.

Privacy Information for Younger Users

You must be at least 13 to use the Game. We do not ask you to create a Cobraverse account, tell us your real name, or share your exact location in the Game. You can play the basic Game without watching reward ads. If you choose an ad, Google receives some information from your device to deliver and check the ad, even though the ad is not personalized. Apple handles purchases and optional Game Center and iCloud features. Ask a parent or guardian before making a purchase or sending us personal information. You can email privacy@cobraverse.net for help with a privacy question.

10. International Users and Data Transfers

Cobraverse is based in the United States. The Services and their providers may process information in the United States and other countries where Cobraverse or its providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you reside.

The Game is not presently offered through App Store storefronts in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland. Cobraverse websites may nevertheless be accessible from those and other locations. Merchandise availability is determined through Etsy and may vary by destination. Any expansion of Game distribution will be subject to the legal requirements of the additional territory and corresponding updates to our privacy disclosures and available choices. Access to a website from a territory does not itself mean that the Game is distributed there.

Where applicable law requires a safeguard for an international transfer, Cobraverse will rely on an available lawful mechanism or on a provider’s applicable transfer safeguards. Nothing in this section expands the geographic availability of the Game or merchandise.

11. Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your residence, the nature of the information, and whether an applicable law covers Cobraverse’s processing, you may have rights concerning Personal Data. These rights are not absolute and may be subject to exceptions, verification requirements, thresholds, or limitations.

U.S. State Privacy Disclosures

During the preceding 12 months, Cobraverse may have collected the categories described in this Privacy Policy, including identifiers and contact information, commercial and transaction information, Internet or other electronic activity, approximate location derived from an Internet Protocol address, device and advertising-event information, communications, and inferences limited to general traffic or service operation. Sources include Users, devices and browsers, Etsy and Printify, Apple, Google and AdMob, GoatCounter, hosting providers, and other providers described above. Cobraverse uses and discloses these categories for the business and commercial purposes described in Sections 5 and 6.

Cobraverse does not sell Personal Data for money or other valuable consideration and does not share Personal Data for cross-context behavioral advertising. Cobraverse does not use or disclose sensitive Personal Data for purposes that require a separate right to limit under applicable California law. Cobraverse does not offer a financial incentive in exchange for Personal Data.

Because Cobraverse does not currently engage in sale, sharing, or targeted advertising for which an opt-out is required, it does not provide a separate opt-out link for those activities. If those practices change or applicable law requires recognition of an opt-out preference signal, Cobraverse will implement and honor qualifying signals, including Global Privacy Control where applicable.

How to Submit a Request

To submit a privacy request, email privacy@cobraverse.net with the subject line "Privacy Request" or use the contact form at cobraverse.net. Please describe the request and the Service or interaction involved. Cobraverse may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity, authority, residency, or the scope of the request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to verification of the agent’s authority. If Cobraverse denies a request, it will provide any explanation or appeal process required by applicable law. A minor or parent may use the same contact methods for the concerns described in Section 9. We will not require information beyond what is reasonably necessary to identify and address the request, and statutory rights are not conditioned on agreeing to additional data collection.

Information stored locally on your device is under your control. You may remove the local Game information by deleting the Game or using available device controls. Information stored through iCloud or Game Center must be managed through the applicable Apple account and settings. Etsy and other independent platforms may require a separate request made directly to them.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Cobraverse may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, providers, features, geographic availability, or privacy practices. The revised version will state an updated effective or revision date.

When required by applicable law, Cobraverse will provide additional notice, request renewed consent, or take another required step before applying a material change. Cobraverse will not use previously collected Personal Data for a materially different purpose without providing notice or obtaining consent where required by law.
